Following on from an exceptional start to the year, especially in regards to fancy coloured diamonds for sale, we look to share the experience of coming to our family-run jewellers. In today’s article, we share what to expect from a visit to Diamonds Hatton Garden.

When a client first attends their appointment, we look to understand the budget they have in mind and the types of diamond shapes that they like. Choosing a diamond is a delicate balance between the 4 Cs – Carat size, clarity, colour and cut. By understanding if a client is looking for a larger diamond, we can advise that they may consider a less high clarity or colour grade to maximise their budget. Likewise, if they are looking for a higher clarity or coloured diamond then we can also advise on a smaller carat weight.
Harel says, “Choosing the right diamond is not all about having the top specs for each of the 4 Cs. It is far more important for us to be able to tailor options to our client’s budget and offer real value. Often, this is done through balancing the 4 Cs to ensure that the client gets great value and high quality”.
Once the diamond has been chosen, we advise on the different style mounts that can best show off the beautiful centrestone. We offer a selection of ready-to-wear mounts as well as a custom option that allows our client to create the ring of their dreams.
Whether a client has an existing design in mind or needs some inspiration, our jewellery workshop can assist. Our team of setters, designers and craftspeople have worked in the industry for many years and have exceptional experience in crafting beautiful items of bespoke jewellery. In particular, yellow diamonds, pink diamonds and blue diamonds make up the majority of custom designed items but we also are skilled with white, loose diamonds.
It is not only bespoke engagement rings that our team craft but also diamond necklaces, diamond earrings and diamond pendants. Director Harel says, “Our workshop has a reputation for excellence and we have assisted generations of clients across the globe to acquire the very finest jewellery – handcrafted in the home of British jewellery – Hatton Garden. We work closely with each client to produce detailed sketches of the item before creating a CAD model. Our workshop then 3D prints the model that will form the cast for the casting. At each stage, we bring each client on the journey to keep them abreast of the exciting design and its development”,
Once the item has been created it is then hand polished and finished by our experts. Our client final inspects their beautiful creation before it is taken home to be enjoyed for many years and generations to come.
