Following on from our buying guides to various fancy coloured diamonds and yellow diamonds in particular, we have an exciting announcement to make with the launch of our new yellow diamond jewellery line. In today’s article we speak to Director and Founder, Harel Kuzi about our new range and what inspired our latest collection.
Naturally fancy coloured diamonds acquire their colours due to the presence of gases during their formation. With natural fancy coloured yellow diamonds, the diamonds acquire their wonderful yellow colour due to the presence of nitrogen molecules during the formation process. Absorbing blue light, the nitrogen molecules inside the stone cause the diamond to reflect as yellow creating the gorgeous yellow saturations and tones.
Based from our London workshop, we endeavoured to create a new range of fancy yellow diamond jewellery that would make these previous gems more accessible without compromising on the quality of the diamond or craftsmanship. With an average carat cost of around £8,000 GBP – fancy yellow diamonds can be out of the reach for many people. Through hand selecting only the very best lighter, yellow diamonds our family team of jewellers have been able to produce a range of fancy yellow diamonds rings, bracelets and earrings that offer exceptional value and quality.
